For my [Imp in a Ball]! He dropped for me out of my second pack of WoW trading cards. I should learn how to play the game, the cards are so pretty! I also got lots of Druidic cards... a sign? Perhaps just coincidence.

I also bought my Pook King of Fighters XI. Yay, Pook! He's playing it now so I'm gonna go watch. Happy day after turkey day!

I'm a bit late with this...

But...

[Frozen Shadoweave Robe]! Along with a [Star-Heart Lamp] and Fel Armor, my Shadow Damage is up to 824. How delicious.

After a bit of emoQQing I also got [The Master's Key] and hardcore pwned some noobs in the Arena. Specifically a Warlock/Shaman combo. They managed to kill Seratha then somehow (I am awesome) I managed to defeat the shaman (lolDoTs) and then Death Coil (and Drain Life tank) the Warlock. I then proceeded to primal yell until my throat hurt.

In closing, I want to point out that I cheated. I bought cloth to level my Tailoring to 375. But I did it in an epic fashion. As in, I bought 50 stacks. That's 1000 Netherweave Cloth. Screenshot, 'cause it did happen.

OH GOD 375 TAILORING YES

... I just joyfully messed my panties. Mmmm...

There's a lot of changes. Heroic Keys at Honored, BG quests, increased exp. and rep gains, discounts... but most importantly...

6th Anniversary and a Final Key Frag

The date was awesome. A little stroll around the mall and a rather comical two visits to Frederick's of Hollywood (I picked out something purple and mesh and something black and thigh-high ^.^) and a kick-ass dinner at the Outback with the best waiter ever later, I was on my way to total contentment.

Then we got home! We ran a quick Arca run to get our final key fragment, turned it in, goofed of with brooms and skimpy outfits then... well, it was our 6th anniversary! What do you think we did?! We also did the same thing this morning. <3 my Pook.

Shadow's Embrace 2/3: Frozen Shadoweave Boots

Just finished 'em. Bringing my Shadow Damage to a nice, solid 694 (794 with Fel Armor up). I was going to hold out for my [Frozen Shadoweave Robe] and try to grind my Tailoring to 375, but I just couldn't do it. I figure by the time I have enough Shadowcloth for the robe, I should be up there. At least, I hope that it'll go that way.

As a way of keeping track, here's what a list of what I have and what I need to complete my goals. I figure the [Ebon Shadowbag] can wait.

I guess it doesn't seem too daunting, 'cept for that 774 Netherweave Cloth part. Ugh. Well, at least the ogres I'll be farming for Obsydian Warbeads also drop Netherweave Cloth. Mm, sweet, sweet Consortium rep.

On top of the exciting crafting of my boots o' shadow damage, Seratha and I also went on a Shadow Labrynth and Steamvaults run. Shadow Labrynth was pretty uneventful. We 4-manned it up until the big Fel Legionaire dudes. Bosses all dropped crappy loot for our group (as usual), though the instance on a whole was great fun. On Blackheart the Inciter, my fellow Warlock Piupiu killed me resulting in an amusing proc of his Essence Infused Mushroom.

In Steamvaults, my darling Seratha won a [Serpentcrest Life-Staff] bringing his healing to +934 with the Priest Spirit buff. Nothing else useful for our group dropped. Why do instances hate us sometimes? At least I got my boots. *holds her boots tenderly*

As a closing statement, I want to say happy anniversary, Nick! I love you! 6 years seems like a long time... but it's not nearly enough for me. I hope we make it to 66 or higher.

Christening the Blog

Even though he doesn't know it, my boyfriend has provided me with the perfect thing with which to christen this, my new blog.

Beginnings

Beginning something always feels so good. Everything is all fresh and new and there's so many things to explore. Especially when it comes to setting stuff up on the web. Getting a new e-mail address or registering for a site is like a mini-adventure. You get to set up your profile, which in itself is pretty fun. Selecting the profile images to use or crafting a new one, picking the color scheme, so on and so forth. But after the shiny newness wears off, will you still enjoy your toy?

Here's to hoping I will!
